Femboy Group(FG) is a group made out of 3 members. The purpose of the group is learning about technology together and execute ideas. FG services usually follow a very consistent naming scheme since none of us are good at finding names. Our primary passion is computers and servers. We learn together what's possible with the current technology and gain experience by maintaining some services. Femboy Group initially started after 3 members met in a Turkish anime server circa January of 2023. After a group of friends tried entering it at the same time, the free provider's speed couldn't catch up. With the help of FG, we moved the site to Oracle which has 10 TB bandwidth and 4 gigabit internet. This is important for later on.

We don't know how but this "meme" exploded in Turkish social media. Before we even knew it, some very famous streamers used this website on stream, which their thousands of followers did the same. Eventually, even Unlost himself used the website.

That much attention was hard on the bandwidth. 4 gigabit easily handled all the traffic but we had no idea about the bandwidth. None of us worked with a site with that much traffic before so we couldn't even imagine the amount of traffic it did. I installed [https://github.com/vergoh/vnstat vnstat] on our server to measure the traffic. To my surprise, the site used around 5-6 TB of bandwidth per month. This is excluding the times huge streamers promoted it on stream. I expect around 1 TB extra traffic there. With this shocking discovery, we had to do something quick. 6 TB of bandwidth is around 2000 TRY which is not an amount we can pay, especially not for a meme site. Of course we didn't need to pay this, Oracle gives us 10 TB bandwidth per month for free. But with the alarming rate site's popularity is rising, it wouldn't be so long until we pass the 10 TB line. So, with the help of FG, Amınake was moved to Cloudflare where they offer unlimited bandwidth. Since that day, we didn't have any problems. More data is available at our FemSocial posts.
